In addition to the number of poles, cross-section and connection method (tab or fork), busbars are also distinguished by their design. The classic busbar is typically supplied in metre lengths for universal use. The panel builder cuts these busbars to the required length for each application.
Structurally, this design is characterised by a hollow chamber in the insulating profile. After cutting and trimming the busbars to length, the required creepage distances are reliably maintained. Alongside the classic design, the Miniline format has also established itself over the years. In an extremely compact design, Miniline (ML) offers ready-assembled solutions for many standard applications.
