Pollmann Elektrotechnik looks back on a company history spanning more than five decades.The company was founded in 1975 by Hans-Joachim Pollmann in Ennigerloh. From thevery beginning, the focus was on practical solutions for electrical installation – with a clear commitment to quality, manufacturing depth and collaborative partnerships with the trade.
As early as 1978, the production of phase busbars was established in close collaboration with Pollmann-Halver. This step marked an important milestone in the company’s vertical integration and laid the foundation for its enduring expertise in wiring technology.
With the move to its first dedicated company premises in Oelde in 1986, Pollmann Elektrotechnik created the infrastructural basis for further growth. Continuously rising demand made further expansion necessary in the years that followed: in 1998, the company relocated to its new headquarters in Oelde, which to this day brings together central functions such as administration, development, production and logistics.
A significant strategic step was the acquisition of an additional plant in Halver in 2009. This acquisition expanded Pollmann’s manufacturing capabilities, particularly in the areas of stamping and injection moulding. The integration of these production areas strengthened the company’s own value chain and increased flexibility for customer-specific solutions.
The close collaboration with the Halver site was consistently developed further in the years that followed. In 2025, the acquisition of the subsidiary in Halver further consolidated the company’s structure and brought greater strategic alignment.
Today, in 2026, Pollmann Elektrotechnik employs around 140 people. The company has evolved from a regional supplier into a capable manufacturer with an international outlook – driven by continuous investment in technology, people and market presence.
